SUNFLOWER GREY STRIPE

A truly stunning giant sunflower that is an awesome addition to any garden border. Super fun for kids to grow and attracts pollinators all season. Leave heads after as a treat for song birds such as the Finches and Sparrows. Also delicious to dry heads and eat fresh sunflower seeds. Must let head fully develop on stalk before harvesting though. How to Grow:

Direct Sow (recommended): 1'' deep when all danger of frost is past. Space 20-24 inches apart as the roots get large. It helps to plant a couple seeds when direct sowing sometimes – helps if one doesn't germinate. Keep moist. May require support.
