BELLS OF IRELAND - GREEN BELLS

Such a unique cut flower and flower in general in the garden. Would just grow it to grow it as it's SO fun! 24'' stems are loaded with all green bell shaped flowers 2'' in diameter with tiny white centers. Has a lovely, light, fruity scent I adore. A nice addition to flower bouquets, on their own in a vase or even dry quite well! Best in later Spring to mid summer. Prefers cooler weather. Multi-branching stems.

How to Grow:

Start Indoors: 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Require Cold Stratification to help aid germination. Place seeds in freezer a week before planting indoors. Press seed in soil and lighty cover as light aids germination. Transplant 10-12'' apart after all danger of frost is past. Direct Sow: 1/4'' deep 1-2 weeks before last frost date as Bells of Ireland can tolerate some light frosts. Soil must be workable though.
